Jill’s A to Z of Life

I must admit I never thought I would end up publishing a book! They always say if you are going to write one book in your life make it one that you would like to read yourself so that’s what I have done. My A to Z of Life is definitely the type of book I'd love to pick up and find little snippets of inspiration or wisdom.

I deliberately didn’t research any similar books out there as this was not a business venture; this was a personal venture to enjoy and challenge me and also provide a legacy for my family.

But why not share the news in case anyone else is interested...

What?

WHAT is the book about? - The introduction is just a little bit about why I decided to write the book and the people who helped me along the way. - The main part of the book has 26 chapters each starting with a beautifully illustrated letter decorated with bugs and flowers. Each word has its own little space which has my take on what that word means to me,…

Why?

WHY did I write it? The idea for this book came into my head a few years ago but didn't really reach the forefront of my mind until early in 2020 where it evolved from a little notebook with lots of positive or important words to an evergrowing word document and then eventually in physical print as it is now! I knew that the most important thing for me to…

WHO has helped me produce this book? It wasn't long before I realised that I couldn't take all the credit for this book now being in my hands ...I had a great team of people supporting me. - Imogen Pittman created the beautiful illustrations - we had great fun sitting in the garden last summer coming up with the correct bugs, plants and flowers to represent each letter. - Greg…

So honoured to be featured in this month’s MENSA magazine spotlighting writers, poets and entrepreneurs. Who would have thought a few years ago that any of this would be happening ? I had planned to write my book a while ago but actually made it happen by mind mapping and visualising in early 2020 but once you start achieving your goals you just never know what’s round the corner...

Love this book. It’s full of depth and packed with wisdom for the real world and all the ups, downs and in-betweens life brings. Jill clearly knows what real life is all about and her A to Z reflects that. It’s beautifully presented and accessible for when you need that little spark of encouragement or inspiration. It’s like having your own life coach on your coffee table. Would highly recommend Jill’s book as a gift or simply as a self-investment.

This is such a great book. Perfect for a present, and perfect to pick up to read just a few pages at a time. Having said that, I keep getting lost in mine! The writing is lovely; interesting and humorous with some fascinating quotes too. This is a favourite.

This book is really, really good. You can dip into it or read it straight through (but read the introduction first). It’s not a technical self-help book – it’s one person’s sharing of ideas on life, how to get the best out of it and how to enjoy it.

So much thought has gone into this book written by Jill. What I love about My A to Z of Life is that you can pick it up and put it down, read as little or as much as you want and feel immensely inspired. Everyone should have a copy of this book for their coffee table.

What a lovely book. Great for dipping into. My 13 yr old daughter has already found it full of hints and tips (that are cool as they aren’t from mum or dad). Thoroughly recommend. Jill knows how to make you feel positive even if you are not a naturally positive person! The illustrations are gorgeous too.

So very pleased with this gorgeous book. It’s great for picking up when you need a few positive words to help you through the day. The illustrations in the book are also very special and compliment Jill’s collection of quotes and words perfectly. The book is going to live by my bed and I will reach for it and read it and remind myself of all the important words of wisdom when I need them.

A super inspirational dip in and out book ! Jill has had the most incredible life and with this book I’m hoping for some of that fantastic-ness to come my way. It features some of my favourite quotes, therefore it is the perfect thing to read in the morning for a little bit of motivation!
You are missing out if you haven’t got your hands on it yet!! Thank you Jill for this marvellous book.

This is a great book. Had it two days so not read it all yet but so far I’m loving the quotes and down to earth nature. It can easily be dipped into but I’m reading it normally! Very authentic. Very motivating and inspiring. I thoroughly recommend.

I love this book, it is beautifully presented and the quotes are wide-ranging, from Aristotle to Frank Zapper; but what is special about this book is that Jill has included her own interpretation and personal feelings about the quote, she has added a real personal and relatable element to it, as well as really useful references. It is not simply a book of quotes, it’s a friend giving you a motivational and spiritual lift. A definite treat for yourself or a wonderful and thoughtful gift for someone else.
